Wind turbines

In the 1980ties Carl C. A/S delivered thousands of lattice towers to Vestas Wind Systems. At that time, most wind turbines were installed on lattice towers, meaning that Carl C. A/S delivered lots of lattice towers to wind turbine parks in for example California, India and China. Our years of cooperation with wind turbine producers has given us valuable experience in the wind energy sector.

Today we use our knowhow to construct different types of steel towers used as meteorological measurement towers in connection with installation and operation of wind turbine parks - both offshore and onshore. There are therefore high demands to the quality and the construction of the towers. Onshore, the wind turbine parks are often placed in deserted areas with bad access conditions. Therefore we have developed guy wire towers which can be built by hand on site without any use of crane.

The measurements of the actual wind conditions on site are of vital importance for the placement of the wind turbines and in the end the profitability of the project.
